Last May 1, a total of 5 tons of vegetables were successfully distributed to beneficiaries across neighboring towns, including 960 families from the 8 barangays in Canlaon City, through the Gulayan Nationwide Program of the Office of the President.

This initiative not only ensures that fresh produce reach families in need, but also strengthens support for our local farmers by providing a steady market for their harvests.

The City Government of Canlaon, led by Mayor Jose Chubasco B. Cardenas, extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Office of the President for selecting Canlaon City as one of the vegetable suppliers for this meaningful program.

We also express our sincere appreciation to Hon. Clementio Llanes and the City Agriculture’s Office, headed by Andrea Canoy, for their dedication and efforts in successfully facilitating this initiative.

Together, we continue to uplift our farmers and nourish our communities.
