The City Government of Canlaon officially marked another milestone with the Signing of the Usufruct Agreement for the soon-to-rise New Canlaon City Fire Station, held today, April 21, 2026, at the Canlaon City Fire Station.

The ceremony was attended by City Mayor Jose Chubasco B. Cardenas, City Administrator Mamerto S. Bermil Jr., Acting City Fire Marshal FINSP Marlou Abrenica, Provincial Office Caretaker FSINSP Joebert Sanao, and Regional Director FCSUPT Rodolfo P. Denaga, DSC of the Bureau of Fire Protection – Negros Island Region (NIR).

This development reflects the city’s continued commitment to enhancing emergency response capabilities and ensuring the safety and protection of every Canlaonian.
